Welcome to Myanmar Embassy, Belgrade

Belgrade EmbassyMyanmar and former Yugoslavia established official diplomatic relations on 19th December 1950. The first Yugoslav Ambassador was appointed on  11th April 1952. Myanmar opened its Embassy at the present address of Kneza Milosa 72, 11000,  in Belgrade in 1955 and H.E U Hla Maung was the First Myanmar Ambassador accredited to Yugoslavia who was appointed on 26th April 1955.

The incumbent Ambassador Extraordinary & Plenipotentiary of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar to the Republic of Serbia is H.E U Myo Aye who presented his Letters of Credence to H.E Mr. Tomislav Nikolic, President of the Republic of Serbia on 5th February 2016, becoming the 18th   Head of Mission of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.
