The Embassy of Myanmar in Belgrade participated in the “Taste of Planet” National Cuisines Festival at Kalemegdan Fortress, Belgrade

The “Taste of Planet” National Cuisines Festival, organized by the City of Belgrade, was held from 18 to 20 September 2026 at Kalemegdan Fortress, a historic and cultural heritage site in Belgrade. In the afternoon of 18 September 2026, U Than Htwe, Ambassador/Chargé d’ Affaires of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar to the Republic of Serbia, together with the staff members and family members of the Embassy of Myanmar, participated in the festival.
At the festival, U Than Htwe, Ambassador/Chargé d’ Affaires of the Embassy of Myanmar, and Ms. Jelena Medakovic, Deputy Minister of the Department of Culture of the City of Belgrade, delivered opening remarks. The Embassy of Myanmar also hosted and served traditional Myanmar cuisine Mohinga and Laphet Thoke (Myanmar Tea Leaf Salad), and then guests enjoyed authentic regional delicacies.

ဆားဘီးယားနိုင်ငံ၊ City of Belgrade မှ ဦးဆောင်၍ ၁၈-၉-၂၀၂၆ ရက်မှ ၂၀-၉-၂၀၂၆ ရက်အထိ ဘဲလ်ဂရိတ်မြို့ရှိ သမိုင်းဝင်အမွေအနှစ်နေရာဖြစ်သည့် Kalemegdan ခံတပ်တွင် “Taste of Planet National Cuisines” ပွဲတော်ခေါင်းစဉ်ဖြင့် ကျင်းပခဲ့ရာ ၁၈-၉-၂၀၂၆ ရက်၊ မွန်းလွဲပိုင်းတွင် သံအမတ်ကြီး/ သံရုံးယာယီတာဝန်ခံ ဦးသန်းထွေးနှင့် မြန်မာသံရုံးမှ ဝန်ထမ်းများ၊ မိသားစုဝင်များ ပါဝင်ဆင်နွဲခဲ့ကြပါသည်။
အဆိုပါပွဲတော်တွင် သံအမတ်ကြီး/ သံရုံးယာယီတာဝန်ခံ ဦးသန်းထွေးနှင့် City of Belgrade၊ ယဉ်ကျေးမှုဌာနမှ ဒုတိယဝန်ကြီး Ms. Jelena Medakovic တို့မှ အဖွင့်အမှာစကား အသီးသီးပြောကြားခဲ့ပြီး တက်ရောက်လာသည့် ဧည့်သည်များအား မြန်မာသံရုံးမှ မြန်မာ့ရိုးရာ အစားအစာဖြစ်သည့် မုန့်ဟင်းခါး၊ လက်ဖက်သုပ်တို့ဖြင့် တည်ခင်းဧည့်ခံ ကျွေးမွေးခဲ့ပါသည်။
